THE COWBOY AND HIS HUMOR.
Ramon F. Adams
Austin: Encino Press, 1968. 71pp. Designed by Bill Wittliff. First edition. Limited to 850 copies. SIGNED by Adams and INSCRIBED by Wittliff. Very good copy. One of the things that made the arduous life of the cowboy bearable was his ability to see the humorous side of things. The author captures some of the funny stories, colorful expressions (“…lets out a yell that would drive a wolf to suicide.”), and practical jokes that are an integral part of the cowboy life. Good reading.
