Kenston Rare Books is owned by Ken Huddleston, a native Texan who began collecting books in 1972 on Texas with a focus on the range and cattle industry.
In 1991, he began selling books and ephemera on the American West with a particular emphasis on Texas. Because he began as a collector, his number one priority is to have a completely satisfied customer. For that reason, he takes particular pains to describe items accurately. If you have any questions about condition, he is always happy to answer them.
Ken is a member of the Texas Booksellers Association and issues emails throughout the year offering a selection from his inventory. He also buys single volumes or entire libraries in his areas of interest.
He and his wife, Jean, live in Dallas, Texas, where she teaches at a private school for children with learning differences.
