Cloth with spine labels. First edition, limited to 325 copies. The books are very fine. The slip case has a couple of scuffs, else fine. Cox, More Basic Texas Books 54: “…this work covers Texas cartography from the beginning of organized Spanish exploration to the map of Texas that Stephen F. Austin produced in 1830….[it] will be an enduring Texas reference work.” A major contribution to the study of the cartography of pre-revolutionary Texas, it was the winner of the 1999 Kate Brooks Bates Award for Historical Research.  A must for libraries and the serious Texana collector. A massive set requiring additional postage.
