Privately printed in a small edition and becoming scarce.” The author’s grandfather settled in Sabinal Canyon in 1852 and was a participant in the area’s history until 1920. This scarce, privately printed work presents a wide selection of memoirs from the men and women who were the pioneer settlers in the region. Enhanced with photographs of the contributors and scenes of Uvalde and a biographical sketch of Fenley not found in the original edition. A very nice copy.
