MILITARY HOLSTERS OF WORLD WAR II

MILITARY HOLSTERS OF WORLD WAR II
Eugene J. Bender
Dallas: Taylor Publishing Co., 1984. 205pp. Bibliography. Numerous photographs (some in color). Brown cloth with gold embossed lettering. First edition. Fine copy. The dust jacket shows some creasing to the front panel and other minor wear, overall very good-. The result of over seven years of investigation, the author’s book covers twenty-four nations which produced holsters for their military weapons during World War II. Additionally, there are over 500 photographs which provide graphic detail to aid in identifying the holsters. Of particular value is the chapter on German holsters with over 200 photographs and details on how to determine the manufacturer, the plant where the holster was made, and the inspector. An extremely valuable work for anyone interested in the subject.
