HONOR AT DAYBREAK: A NOVEL OF ONE TOWN’S BATTLE FOR JUSTICE.

HONOR AT DAYBREAK: A NOVEL OF ONE TOWN’S BATTLE FOR JUSTICE.
Elmer Kelton

New York: Doubleday & Co., 1991. 390pp. Blue paper over boards with a dark blue cloth spine, title in gilt on the spine. First edition, first printing. INSCRIBED. Externally and internally, the book is a fine copy. The unclipped dust jacket shows just the slightest bit of edgewear, else fine. Honor at Daybreak represents a bit of a departure for Kelton, in that, there is no central character. The entire community of Caprock joins together to save itself. Caprock is loosely based on the West Texas town of Crane where the author grew up. Exhibits the excellent character development one has come to expect from Kelton.
